To be classified as rum, it must contain a minimum ABV of 37.5-40.0%, which this does not. However, they use the same elements and spices found in traditional rum and employ similar distillation methods in addition to steam and extraction techniques that allow us to create a taste that closely resembles rum, fooling most people when mixed and enjoyed in good company.
